I didn't have trouble on the dating market. But then again I'm conventionally attractive in the top ways OLD works for women (petite, Asian). I actually had to restrict the ages below and above me because I had too many messages. But when guys could get through, I got younger and older than I filtered for. At the time I was 40 and had some 29 year olds sneaking in.
I am 47. I go on dates with 29-year-olds sometimes. I don’t look my age. Age 40 and 29 is not a huge gap at all.
What?!? I am a divorced 45 years old man. My minum is 35. I don't even know how I will approach a 29 years old. That's a big gap.
40 and 29 is not a big gap—you need to read better. 47 here: youngest I have dated is 28. That is a big gap.
That's true. One of my wife's friends friend is Getting married to a 32 years old man. She is 45 with 3 kids. There is def gender bias in our society because everyone who talks about the wedding talk about his age wondering what is finding so appealing in her. And she is a nice woman too. Her first husband committed suicide a few years ago. She was depressed for awhile and my wife said she is raving about this guy and have been trying for a baby together..I wish them luck. Love is beautiful. But clearly a lot of people have an opinion about it often pointing out that he can do much better than her. Her only fault for these people is her age..And by the way some of the comments are not all from men, some of the women are having similar comments which I find weird.
I am not surprised by the sexist comments at all. And even in public if folks notice that she is much older they will probably say sexist stuff under their breath.
