if you can ignore the religious stuff (which many do), ND fits the bill.
It's hard to ignore. Touchdown Jesus is always there watching over the games and your kid will walk by First Down Moses and the statue of Jesus in God Quad. The subway alum are diehard fans because of its Catholic roots. Your kid will have a priest as their rector in their dorm, which will also have a chapel. Your kid will take required theology classes.
Don’t know what a subway alum is, but I live in NY and my ND peers always bring in students for their internship spots. I take who HR sends. (And I had to take theology classes at Georgetown and it was super interesting)!
Subway alum are fans who never attended Notre Dame. I think it’s a great school and culture. But I don’t particularly appreciate those who say to just “ignore” the religious stuff. It’s there for a reason and I would expect students to respect, not ignore that “stuff.”
Whatever. I’m Catholic w kids in Jesuit schools. I ignore a shitload of stuff.
Ha. Same
