I am a dog owner and married mother. I *love* dogs and I agree the 'dog mom' thing is super sad. Posting thousands of photos of your dog, dog social media accounts, taking it everywhere you go including day trips and vacations, obsessively doting on it like it's a child... you're doing all of that because your body yearns for an actual baby![/quote]
