What’s so hard to understand? High performers don’t enlist in the military.

If they want to serve they go the officer route. Enlistment is for losers. They would be working at Walmart or flipping burgers if they didn’t have the military. [/quote]

You know who else doesn’t join the people? People who don’t want to work hard.  Flipping burgers and working at Walmart is infinitely easier than being enlisted.  I’d rather tax payer dollars go to people actually earning it.  Military members work all hours, as long as they are needed to finish a job, go wherever they are told, and have to be ready at all times. They earn and should be entitled to this raise [/quote]
