As it gets hotter on the playgrounds the kids should have water bottles with them. There are articles about slides burning kids and schools needing air con that historically never needed it before. The world is just getting hotter and schools usually don’t have shade in the playground.

Eh, I lived in a place much hotter than here and remember those "123 that's enough for me" days. If kids are drinking during meals and outside of school, they don't need to bring a water bottle around because of the heat.

Many kids are more comfortable having access to water during the day, and that's enough of a reason to say that things should change. [/quote]

I’m sure the teacher just said, “ask your mom if you want a water bottle.”  The Mom needs to draw the line for the kid.  If you can’t do that OP, don’t go against the grain and not have a water bottle. [/quote]
