Is this the real 5D chess? Is he THAT out of touch? He can’t win the electoral college without the youth vote yet… here we are. He has put loyalty to Israel over everything. Is no one advising him?! As a woman I can’t believe this is how my rights end in America. A senile stubborn old man that doesnt get the memo. I’m furious
If the "youth vote," goes for Trump they will curse the day they voted. Younger women need abortion rights more than women my age.
They’re not going to vote for Trump. They’re going to sit it out. And that is 100% Biden’s fault. It’s not up to GenZ to save democracy, it’s up to Biden. He chose to run, and now he has a job to do. The majority of Dem and likely-Dem voters I know would have preferred just about anyone but Biden. He should have sat this one out, so I find it a bit hypocritical.
"It's not up to GenZ to save democracy..." Not exactly the Greatest Generation here, is it? They seem awfully excited for another Trump term. I think young progressives are quite looking forward to it. They are clearly willing to throw everything from women's rights to the environment to income inequality to the Supreme Court aside so that for a brief moment they can say I told you so. A generation ago it was the progressive Nader voters that gave us George Bush, the invasion of Iraq, and the financial collapse in 2008. It will be very interesting to see how things turn out as young progressives bring forth Trump 2.0. As Obama said, elections do indeed have consequences.
My god. Do you hear yourselves? I have to say that as a GenX I’m extremely disappointed in my fellow GenXers as of late. How about people stop demonizing GenZ and actually start listening! You’re a fool if you think they are excited about Trump. As a lifelong Dem with GenZ kids, I would hope that our party, that I barely recognize, shapes up. In 2022 they used donations to fund crazy Trumpsters. Now, they are minority rule on the war. I have no idea if my kids will be able to support themselves and the environment is rapidly declining. Frankly, it’s up to Biden and the party to do something worth voting for.
Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Joe Biden is 5 billion times better than Donald Trump. If you are GenX you know you can’t always get what you want but you can get a lot more of what you want with Biden. I’m a millennial with three little kids and I care deeply about the environment and democracy. I’m not happy with everything Biden or democrats have done and I am fiscally moderate with a high HHI and feel taxed death (partially on Trump though; thanks for SALT) but I would never vote for Trump for taxes and it makes me sick that billionaires are jumping on with Trump for taxes. It is sick.
So you don’t get it. Keep on vilifying my kids.
