There are other clubs in Loudoun.  Being small is the reason to be in SFL.
However, PSA rec is bigger than many clubs.  I suspect they are using less space than allocated.  They have hundreds of kids show up to each practice, splitting a single site into many fields.[/quote]

There’s no reason for Loudoun to be in SFL. They are in a much more diverse and successful operation. It shows when they compete against SFL teams in the Rec All Star tournaments. They usually dominate. [/quote]

Only sometimes.  They charge so much that many of the rosters are filled with non-allstars.  One year a team was -30.[/quote]

Good players aren't trying out because the parents don't want to pay, so they are taking weaker players.  One year for one age group, they should have had just one all star team. but instead they insisted on keeping two and went hunting for fill-ins.[/quote]

That’s annoying. I guess that kinda defeats the purpose of all stars.

I just noticed that at Herndon Cup this past fall was dominated by Loudoun boys and girls in the U12 and under. I think they have a good program that’s unmatched right now. [/quote]
