ALL 36 of the other Presidents have been 60 or YOUNGER. (9 Presidents have been in their 40's including Teddy Roosevelt, Obama, Clinton, Kennedy.  Only 4 have been over 65 - and should we even count the one who only lasted 31 days?)

Regan ended his presidency at 77 and there were concerns that he was experiencing cognitive decline during his second term. He was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer's 5 years after at 82.

Biden will be 82 if elected and need to make it to 86 to finish his term. It is like the tale of the Emperor who has no clothes -  who is going to tell Biden forcefully he is far too old to run? I will not vote for Biden this time even though I voted for him 4 years ago. What is the Democratic Party thinking? There needs to be a meeting so that a viable candidate can be put forward.  I am voting for a person for President not a puppet. Who is the Puppet Master? I might have my guesses but I really don't know.

Trump will be 80. He is too old as well.

There really needs to be an upper limit for the Presidency.

It's a shame we can't rely on the common sense of voters and political party leaders to weed out candidates that clearly aren't our best options for president. Obviously, we can't rely on common sense prevailing in this regard so additional eligibility requirements such as a maximum age for which someone can seek a 1st and 2nd presidential term would be helpful in making sure we don't have a repeat of this 2024 election debacle in the future. 72 as the max age for someone seeking a 1st term and 76 for someone seeking a 2nd term would be a fair and reasonable starting point. Too bad this can't be implemented immediately. [/quote]
