It was originally going to occur, and then the GA bailed on it.  Like they then went on to do with GA Rising.. seems like an interesting trend.[/quote]

I heard GA bailed on GA Rising because of issues with USSSA and sanctioning, which is why GA Rising teams ended up folding into DPL in their own conference with GA 2nd teams. I suspect those teams will move to GA Rising (or new name, but same idea) for 2024-25 season. GA teams get 2nd teams out of USYS system and control their own programming. [/quote]
