It was also one of the wealthier MCPS schools in the 90s. Hard to believe in this day and age, but it had a stronger reputation than B-CC then. The Washington Post actually wrote about Durso’s transition from Yorktown HS, and (according to the article) his experience dealing with wealthy, entitled North Arlington parents helped with the transition.
