That is why I always bring masks with me and always wear them on airplanes and packed places.  Happened to me on a flight back from LA. I called the guy out and said "you are visibly sick, why fly and if so why not wear a mask?" He replied with something along the lines of why did he have to wait 5 days to fly home?  :roll:  I then gave him an extra mask I had in a sealed bag and put my own mask on.  He actually put it on and wore it, but took it off to eat.  I was in business class and the flight was totally full, so I couldn't switch.  When I went up to use the bathroom a flight attendant thanked me.

I ended up not getting sick, but was pretty pissed off.

My husband flies regularly for work.  He still wears a mask in the busy parts of the airport and wears it until the planes takes off or no one is near his seat (he usually flies business), then he takes it off until landing, unless he uses the loo or someone close to him is visibly sick. He hasn't caught Covid on a plane, but caught some nasty respiratory thing in South America that required scans and antibiotics. [/quote]
