OP, come back and clarify why you do laundry every day. Basically everyone here thinks this is overkill.
Cause she has three kids!
My mom had four kids and her number one complaint was laundry, which she said was endless -- she just always felt behind no matter how much of it she did. Years later when doing my own family planning, I absolutely remembered my mom talking about this and factored it in. And my mom was a SAHM, so if she found laundry endless, imagine what it would feel like if you also worked. But I just had one because it's like this with everything -- you drown in laundry, dishes, meal-prep, school obligations. I will say one thing that makes a difference is that my mom did all my dad's laundry, and he was a contractor and most days he got dressed twice -- once for work sites and once for meetings, so it was just a ton of laundry. Plus she ironed all his work shirts, too. It was an insane amount of laundry for just one person, before she even got to kids and towels and sheets. It's no wonder it felt endless to her. I'm so glad that's not my life, that my DH does laundry too, and also that no one in our family is that high maintenance. Women of prior generations had it pretty bad, folks. That doesn't mean the way women today struggle isn't real, but I think about what women used to be expected to do, whether they worked or not, whether they had help or not, and it's insane. There is not enough money in the world to make me willing to be a housewife from the last century. It was a bad gig.
