I would not want to be a new Mother at forty-four. That is insane! I cannot imagine dealing w/breastfeeding, diapers, potty training + preschool at that stage in my life!! I think I would be too tired to run after a toddler in my late forties! Forties are a time to live your best life because after fifty - health issues may impact your quality of life. Not saying fifty is old.
I’m sorry you’re so weak. I had a baby at 45 and it’s been amazing.
Come back in about 12 years and let us know how it’s going.
Why the fearmongering? Life is what you make of it.
Most normal people don’t want babies at 44-45. To be 60 with a teenager? Good luck. I want to be retired and traveling by then.
Amen. I will be 45 when mine graduates high school, and in the prime of my life. I could not imagine starting over at that point, but I can definitely understand if it’s a woman’s first child. Better a little late than to never have a child at all if you want to be a parent. Everyone has a different path. But I definitely do not understand the women that age who already have kids (especially grown kids) that decide to start all over. That makes no sense to me.
