A large survey of vets put pitt bulls in the middle when it comes to dog bite risk, so that Dalmatian also might need a muzzle. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6861953/
Thank you pp!
Jesus Christ. No one has ever said other dogs don’t bite. People are saying that pit bulls are the dogs that will kill you when they decide to bite you.
The problem which you and everyone else ignores is the fact that "pit bull mixes" have a lot of different dog breeds in them. Why is it the American pit bull terrier dna and not the German Shepherd or Husky that you blame? Also, why do you blame the owners of the other dogs that attack but when it come to pit bulls you solely blame the dna of the dog? Is a dog that is 75 lab and 25 percent American pit bull terrier a pit bull mix or a lab mix? Why is that no one will answer these questions? Instead you will come back with an insult on me or the dogs. But just more evasive answers.
Because in dogs, function follows form. If it looks like a pit bull, it’s going to have more pit bull behavioral attributes.
