GMU. Lots of "regular" Asians there. Not everyone wants to be an Engineer!
My husband got his engineering degree at Mason. Plenty of students of all backgrounds in that program. Sadly, many of them couldn’t write a coherent sentence, which I found out through editing the group project write ups for my husband. His “favorite” classmates were the ones who wouldn’t shut up about being TJ grads. My husband barely passed HS, joined the military, then went back to school. Guess who had the better grades?
Well, he had you editing his group projects
Which was smart of him as he knows writing is not one of his strengths. His classmates were worse, though. There weren’t that many writing assignments, honestly. I helped maybe 3 times over the course of 4 years. He just wanted me to help with clarity so that non-engineers like me could understand the written parts of their projects. I certainly didn’t help him with his advanced math classes or whatever science classes he had to take! He got As in those all on his own.
