No, it won't. GMU can't do a pilot like this on one high school, especially when a 3.25 is below the 25th percentile for the entire school. This is a clear end-run around the scotus decision. there will be a court challenge and GMU will lose.  Why? think.  How is this fair to all of the kids in VIRGINIA? This is a public school?  Privates can do what they want.  Publics can't.  There has to be across the board entry standards for publics.  One high school can't be curried out for favor.[/quote]

They can. This program is open to ALL students who attend the pilot high school. If you want your child to participate then move there. If you take GMU to court then YOU will lose. [/quote]

You don’t understand. There must be a challenger who has standing to bring the case, then usually a coalition is put together to fund the litigation. That’s how the Harvard case before scotus was done.  And they did not LOSE. I’m just a constitutional lawyer who thinks a special program for just one high school with a particularly low level of white students (and Asian) cannot withstand a court challenge. It’s clearly racist [/quote]
