Wouldn’t have happened. That was the strength of his foreign policy. No one wanted to be on the receiving end of batsh*t crazy. Now the know America will do nothing.
+1. Only two wars so far started under Biden but hey, still another 14 months to go.
Putin would not have needed to invade Ukraine, because the Orange Man would have given Putin Ukraine.
This. Trump would have handed Ukraine over to Russia with no support. He invited the Taliban to Camp David (and left the Afghani Govt out) which led to the awful withdrawal, he gave the Saudi govt to assimilate that journalist and he betrayed Kurdish allies in support of Russia. There was nothing peaceful or stabilizing about Trump’s chaotic foreign policy approach. The only consistent things were him kissing Putin’s a&$ and grifting his way through the Middle East and his daughter through China.
Trump's foreign policy is to make nice with evil dictators. It was horrifying watching him kowtow to them. -former R
I doubt you're a former R. I am not a R and never was but even I acknowledge there were realist aspects to Trump's foreign policy that now makes even more sense in light of the events of the last few years. But I know there are posters on here who cannot see him as anything but the Devil reincarnate so it's pointless having these threads.
You're not a R and have never been, so you have no idea what the Reagan R's worldview was like. Your view is more inline with populists, like the RINOs of today. The Reagan R want to fund Ukraine; the RINO populists do not. yes, I am a former R, and I fully support funding Ukraine. Putin needs to be pushed back.
