We the people decide what and what it contains, and how we interpret it. And we interpret it by the people we elect to do xyz. Our rights are determined by the voters and how they change the laws. Your rights are malleable.[/quote] We the people gave power to our representatives to ratify the constitution, which clearly states that those particular rights are inalienable. They can’t be voted away. [/quote] The constitution is amendable. PEOPLE have to be willing to uphold it for it to work. Our rights ultimately come from the people not a piece of parchment.[/quote]
