Wellesley consistently ranks in the top 5 among the US News LAC rankings but I hear about it for less than the others. It seems like a great school- urban location, access to MIT/Olin/Babson, tons of opportunites, great alumnae network. I understand that being a women's college means less interest but it still receives roughly 75% of the applications of similarly ranked coed school.
They are ranked 5? How does a school that discriminates against an entire gender be ranked that high?
It ranks #5 on this ranking, too, and it includes all the universities! https://lesshighschoolstress.com/blog/6/ This one looks at diversity (well, other than male students, obviously), classroom experience and student satisfaction, so Wellesley must do well in these areas in addition to those measured by US News. Women's colleges did really well in general on this list: Scripps #4 Mt. Holyoke #11 Bryn Mawr #13 Smith #20 Barnard #26
