Yes I said educated.
Wow. This person thinks that educated people do not respect this country. I don't know what group he/she hangs with, but I have been around many highly educated military people and the ones I know respect the flag. Wonder is this vet is teaching in FCPS--sounds like one whose "wife" tweets a lot.
I'm not surprised you don't understand. She did say "educated."
You must belong to the “tolerant” party.
Education is something you can definitely obtain even on your own, so no, I don't tolerate ignorance. You choose to be ignorant and that's on you.
Educated one, what is your take on this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r3tVryT7ZU
   what does this have to do with the pledge of allegiance?
It has everything to do with FCPS encouraging students allegiance to the Rainbow flag while discouraging them from allegiance to what the U.S. flag represents. No one can serve two masters. Watch the entire video for context.
Who at FCPS is encouraging students to pledge allegiance to the pride flag? You are insane.
Have you ever attended any of the School Board meetings? Have you ever visited classrooms in FCPS where you see many Rainbow/Trans/ BLM flags and barely any U.S. flagS? You can also ask your children, if you have any. They’ll tell you the difference in attitude at school when referring to the U.S. flag and the activist flags.
Nice try. A mare existence of a pride flag does not equal to what you claimed which is that teachers are asking students to pledge allegiance to the pride flag instead of the American flag. Don't back paddle now. Im sorry that it offends you so greatly that teachers are trying to be inclusive of all of their students. I guess you're only patriotic as long as the country is straight and white.
How inclusive are you when it comes to patriotic, or white, or Christian, or straight students? Are you inclusive of the students’ parents who serve in the military and to whom the U.S. flag represents their sacrifice? How about people who are not white, are you inclusive enough to see them as your equal by not labeling them as victims or oppressed? How about women, are you inclusive enough to treat them in word and action as equal to men, meaning you don’t label them as opposed or victims? The U.S. flag is a symbol that represents everything we have overcome to become the nation we are today and the sacrifices made by those who serve in the military to protect EVERYONE, not just a certain sector of the population.
