How can you tell "generally"? This is crazy. Latin Americans are as diverse as Americans are (it's the Americas). Have you ever travelled in Latin America??? I have met people in Latin America whose ancestors immigrated there from Italy, Germany, Ireland, China, Africa, etc. The one thing [b]they have in common is that they speak Spanish and that is why they are called "hispanic". They are all hispanic[/b].

The guy who just pitched a no hitter (Yankees), Domingo German, is from "Latin America". Would you call him hispanic if you saw him and didn't know his name or where he was from? Just wondering. [/quote]
