The internalized misogyny in desiring “masculine” men is depressing.
What is wanting a feminine woman?
You missed the scare quotes. There is also something wrong in wanting a "feminine" woman. "Masculine" men are overly concerned about dominating others, ridicule and suppress feelings other than anger, fear and hate gay people, think women should be subservient, and exhibit any number of other supposedly masculine traits that are, in fact, damaging to themselves and others. You can be masculine without buying into such things. Similarly, desiring a "feminine" woman would involve wanting a woman who hides her intelligence, who suppresses ambitions she may have other than raising children and supporting her husband, and suppresses her sexual desires (or feigns them) when they are inconsistent with what the men in her life thinks they should be.
