I came very, very close to getting run over by a boat and/or my kid going overboard in a boat collision. Only saved by my incredibly cool-headed friend’s brother driving the boat. My friend and I had jumped off the stopped boat to swim behind it. DH and son still on the boat with friend’s brother. I look up and see a motorboat speeding at full throttle towards our boat. Brothet could not move our boat because we were feet away from the propellors behind it. He somehow screamed and threw waterskis loud and fast enough at the other boat that they slowed down enough to just bump ours.
