Agree. I saw a comment from Kevin Hart indicating he knew Foxx was improving but it was worded as if he had not actually seen him or talked to him. Could have been construed either way. Foxx has some seriously adept PR handlers, I think, and that's just fine--this is at base a private matter. But if his daughter wants to snark at "the media" she shouldn't be surprised when speculation gets going due to lack of any authentic-sounding updates.

I suspect as many of us said early in the thread, he's had a stroke or other potentially career-altering impairment, and everyone's holding off saying anything in hopes he will show improvement in these early weeks and months, which are a crucial period.

Of course, I was at first sure that Jeremy Renner would die or be left extremely impaired, and wow, look at his recovery. A very different situation and set of injuries, of course, but his transparency after his accident was helpful. He was able to speak immediately afterward, though, which helps, and he was able to speak directly to camera despite his injuries. The fact we haven't heard anything like that from Foxx is not a good sign. [/quote]
