I would argue USNWR rankings are also opinion.  Their methodologies and algorithms are decided by humans, individual criteria weights are tweaked to revise rankings, and the process is easily modified to boost some schools at the expense of others.

It is the opinion of a magazine hidden under the guise of an objective assessment.  It is, in fact, highly subjective.[/quote]
