MILLIONS of women in the USA were forced to leave the workforce because of lack of childcare in the pandemic and beyond, because there is still a critical shortage of childcare and it is more unaffordable than ever. I rarely get seriously angry, but reading that absurd declaration made me want to punch the poster, who is clearly so privileged now (immigrant success story, yay!) as to be totally ignorant of the lived experience of millions of American mothers right now.[/quote]
