Actually I don’t mean to blame him at all, just reading his story made me think of my DH own midlife crisis symptoms, and all the recent threads about it recently, and thinking about what risks he may be taking in ways I don’t even think about. Like maybe checking where he is staying when he travels or checking in if he is out late.

I guess in this case, the victim didn’t have someone looking out for him in that way so it’s moot.  Maybe his dad? Losing his wife last year and now his son, just awful. [/quote]
