Keep in mind though that this occurred when the WISC was still the golden ticket into AAP. Very few people even tried to appeal without a reasonably high WISC. Nowadays, I would guess that the only kids admitted on appeal are the ones who really should have been admitted the first time. The rate is probably much lower than 50%. [/quote]
