These students are lost in whole group lessons. I am then teaching pre k standards with them during small groups. No one wants to work with them as partners. My high students have to sit through lessons that they already know naturally. We can never go in depth with them because we have to hit the breaks for the students that just never get it. They are then left to monitor and teach other kids in the class. Public school is a joke because the focus is on inclusive and social emotional but not academics. Bring that old school back![/quote]
