Why does race have to be brought up?  I'm white and didn't mind the Go Go music.  Yes, it's nostalgic for some, but it's also because it has roots here in DC! It was and is part of the culture for some, black, white,  asian, hispanic, etc.  And I'm sorry to break to you honey, but DC is not all white, maybe your neighborhood is.  When I walk around DC, I see lots of different ethnicity. [/quote]
