The upcoming hearing is by the Committee w/oversight over DC, the USAO is not included in that hearing and in fact, the USAO is overseen by the Committee that oversees DOJ. Perhaps a joint hearing would be useful. The issues have occurred over multiple administrations and USAs, the problem goes deeper to staff, policy, resources, etc. [/quote]
