You better call your legislators. This makes no sense. Democrats believe that 16 YO (and under) are old enough and mature enough to vote and to make life changing decisions about "transitioning," but they are not old enough to k now that murder is wrong and to be held accountable for their actions?
You should read up on what "felony murder" is. It's not murder. It's when you didn't kill anybody, but they charge you with murder.
You are a true apologist for criminals. I guess you also believe that if someone is an accomplice to a murder, that person shouldn’t be charged with the murder. Maybe instead of apologizing for the criminals, we should encourage them not to commit murders and not to hang out with people who want to commit murders?
Maybe we should only charge people who killed people with murder.
In the case of felony murder, they did murder them. There was a homicide, the homicide was caused by the person or people committing the felony. It was not an accident that the felony was committed, so it was not an accident that the person was killed during the felony. It was all premeditated and with the knowledge that someone might die because of one’s felonious actions. It is applied to certain felony types, ones that are deemed to be dangerous. So, I think that we are in agreement.
No. People who did not kill people should not be charged with murder.
You’ve already been through this on a thread last week. Go back there and argue about this.
