When I was at the University of Florida every week during my first semester someone jumped.

You are correct this is not unique to NCSTATE.

One of mine did eng/cs at NC State I personally would not recommend it for many reasons even for in-state students.

From that overcrowding to unbelievably horrible professors. My kid is an A student no matter where they went, meaning my criticisms are because my others attended other schools and their experience in terms of academics was so much better. NC state changes requirements for graduation in the middle of semesters. It has a health center that is basically non-functional.

I could go on and on.

Centennial campus is lovely however that is only when looking in from the outside.

One program at NC State that is fantastic is its Textiles program. That I would recommend for in-state students.

No reason for anyone to go to NC State out of state.

Mine went because we had lived in Raleigh. And they were very active kid NC State has great intramurals. Eight at State is a great way to stay active at school.
