They only take off on Holy Thursday and Good Friday (which I am not advocating for at a public school). It's like they don't even talk to the people who celebrate religious holidays before making decisions about whether to have them off. I have seen Indian people here post about going to school on Diwali being fine because it is celebrated at night.
