I find your answer presumptuous, just as I find Golden Retrievers predictable in both appearance and personality. They are sweet and biddable but also boring. Give me a dog breed that is more independent and has more personality. [/quote]

+1. Not to poo poo a great family breed, but all the Goldens I have ever met (and I have known a lot), are all the same. Exact same dog. [/quote]
