MCM furniture is usually uncomfortable. The hard surfaces, sharp edges, and straight lines are visually stressful; they don’t feel organic, and people are unconsciously tense in those environments. The style isn’t designed for warmth or a sense of caring. [/quote]

In my experience a lot of it is VERY comfortable.  I'd still rather visit than live with it though.[/quote]
