Screened porches are for people who don’t really like being outside in nature but like to pretend they do. We seriously considered adding one but ultimately realized we didn’t want to give up the deck space. We have young children and the deck is awesome for playing. Screened porch is just for like… sitting.
Maybe you have only been in tiny screened in porches? I do yoga in mine, we have family dinners, our kids have game night with their friends, we did early puppy training (sit and stay level), I have had PT sessions out there, it’s an extension of our laundry room when we have a lot of clothes to hang on drying racks, and more. During COVID, I would work out there with my kids while they studied. That porch saved my sanity.
What would you say is “not tiny”?
