You are conflating blame with the reality of majority low performing kids. Why there are 60% with 1s or 2s is not the issue. Does not change that it means high performing kids are in a crappy educational environment for them as against a school with mostly 4s and 5s. I'd also suggest that you show your stripes by characterizing BASIS as "pushing poorly performing kids out". BASIS has rigorous and unwavering standards. No one has to leave, but kids who can't pass the comprehensive exam repeat. You say that's pushing them out. I say that's setting a high standard and sticking to it. [/quote]
