Because it indicates that the shooter was part of the LGBTQ+ community, and not a right-winger radicalized by online rhetoric as was quickly assumed and announced by CNN, MSNBC, the NYT and so on.

Similar to how the shooter at the Pulse nightclub had been seen at the gay nightclub before and stated that the shooting was in revenge for the killing of Abu
Waheeb by American forces.

How could you say that? The trans community is especially being targeted. People would rather close local libraries than have lgbt books or drag queens read stories to kids. It’s considered abuse for parents to get their kids treatment in some states. Quit trying to gloss over the hate, which is real. Do you think the shooter shot up the club out of solidarity? It’s either self loathing brought on by all the hate messages they’re receiving, or they’re lying about how they identify to confuse the situation. [/quote]
