Not the OP, but while our daycare doesn't officially require masks anymore, they're always saying that masks are "strongly recommended", on signs, emails, and to your face if you dare to bring in your kid without one.  They say it's what the county/state recommends, but I really think they are just making it up, because it was my understanding that it's only recommended when we are in "high" community levels?  And it's so blatantly hypocritical because I'll often see staff with the masks off or under their noses.[/quote]

Ours is like this too, but it’s a very old building with old HVAC systems so I think they are trying to compensate for that.  And it seems the majority of the parents favor it, several kids in my DS’ class had Covid last month and the parents aren’t even giving them a masking break during this post-Covid time of high immunity![/quote]
