[/quote] Hi fellow 40s 5’6” mom! I’m down 34 since May. What’s your target goal? At the moment I’m aiming for 140, which is another 5lbs. But I’m not sure I’m going to be happy there because my weight is not in the same places it was before. So I may reset and aim for 130 after I see what 140 looks like. The 34 lbs only took me down 2 pants sizes, which was surprising until I realized the weight was still just settled around my waist. Last time I weighed 145 I was wearing 6 bottoms, this time it’s an 8. I also run every day and have worked my way up to 5m a day. I’m working on pace again. I had gotten down to an average sub 11 minute mile, but I got a chest infection a few weeks ago and it’s been rough going. I’m stuck around 13 minutes now and the chest infection is still impacting my asthma so I can’t seem to budge it further. [/quote] Be gentle and patient with yourself. It is more important that your body heal fully. Maybe add something else - more walking or good stretching or weights. [/quote]
