The Available University Fund is split 2/3 UT System and 1/3 Texas A&M System.  For the UT System, only UT Austin can get "Excellence" funds, and this cannot be less than 45% of the UT System payout and can be more and currently is.  The remaining part pays for bonds used for construction, and this is split between schools, with UT Austin also getting a share of that.   UT Austin also has endowment funds separate from the Available University Fund.[/quote]
