Look, I get that there are appropriate and inappropriate places to bring kids too. And I try my best not to take my kids to those places. But I would never sit them on a restaurant counter. And now that they are old enough to stay home alone, I don't even drag them to the grocery store if I don't have to. But the fact is, it's illegal to leave a child at home alone. It's not illegal to do so with a dog. That's the difference.[/quote]
