No. They have magnet programs embedded in different schools. The top three in demand are Blair, Richard Montgomery, and Poolesville. But there are many more.

Maybe.  But, honestly, all of MCPS has become ‘troubled’.  Discipline is an issue in every cluster.  I don’t see RM as any worse or better with respect to ‘school environment’ and ‘school safety’ than any other MCPS high school.  Unfortunately, they all kind of stink.  Teachers and staff are stretched too thin.  Kids behavior is atrocious.  [/quote]
oh, but W schools don't have all those poor kids that cause trouble.    RM has 23% FARMs, and like 40% combined black and hispanic kids .  To some, that's too many.[/quote]
