So that part of the story is when she is leaving Bingley’s place after staying there a few days. Elizabeth is still really irritated with Darcy, but you can see him starting to like her in spite of himself. When he holds her hand to “help” her get into the carriage, it’s this impulsive need to touch her, and as he walks away he flexes that hand like he was electrified by the touch. He’s feeling these sensations he doesn’t know what to do with. [/quote]
