That's how it should be on every issue.

Then people who want to live in Jesusland can live in Jesusland, and people that want to live in the glorious workers paradise can live in their glorious workers paradise.  People can natural move to places that match their politics.  Some states will prosper and others will not.[/quote]

Thats more or less how it was pre-civil war and when the federal constitution wasn't binding on the states with a weak federal government with a limited role.  Also 6 parts of the USA were once independent countries in the sense you may be familiar with. [/quote]
