Frumin should change his slogan to "Ready for Frumin" because the refrain these past few weeks has been "even if he has no specifics and decades' old experience, only Frumin can save us from Goulet!"  His cult has done a good job of scaring the other candidates out and convincing people that a vote for anyone but Frumin is a vote for Goulet.  Only a vote for Goulet is a vote for Goulet. It wasn't Frumin scaring people out of the race. Elissa Silverman conducted a poll and then got Duncan and Bergmann to bow out. She clearly saw their races as non-competitive and Frumin in the lead otherwise to Goulet.

It's not that Goulet himself is a threat, Eric seems like a decent (if a little strange) person. It's that having a ward councilmember who owes more to actors not just outside the ward but outside the city is going to be a disaster. [/quote]
