They would have occasional accidents until age 5-7 but only a few times a year. They knew what to do and didn’t usually need to wake me but they always knew they could. I think it was easier because they were so young and we were in the potty training process already. I lost a little sleep but not much, it definitely beat the thought of diapers for 8 more years.
