If you can’t grasp that a 60-something has a limited time left compared to a 40-something, you need to take some remedial biology and math classes. I’m not making any judgments on the persons quality of leadership, but you simply do not hire a retirement-aged person to replace a retiree and expect it to be long term, unless you’re a moron.[/quote] Most heads of schools are around for less than 10 years. The educators and administrators in my family retired well into their 70s and weren't really ready to retire, so they still work in schools.[/quote]
