Its really really sad. I am not a fan of Dr Mcknight or how she handled the pandemic, but if something happens here, it is NOT mcps's fault. Or Moco police. Or Moco govt. Or whether there's a brilliant armed SRO who's bonded with all the troublemakers. There are crazy ppl out there and we allow people to get guns easily. It takes 30 mins to go to Virginia from most of Moco. You can order parts on the internet like that kid in Clarksburg with road rage. We are *drowning* and we are trying to save ourselves with teaspoons.

I wouldn't say its fully their fault but prevention, just like with covid goes a long way.  We know school violence the past 10-15 years is at an all time high and what is happening at other schools can happen here.

I think some of the MCPS COVID choices are more about Hogan and elections than about MCPS.[/quote]
